Just gauging if anybody fancies writing for the homepage welcome block? I was hoping to throw this section out to you guys to write on a monthly/bimonthly basis to keep the homepage fresh and interesting (my ramble is getting a bit stale now :) )
The Brief:
Needs to be between 275-350 words.
Needs to provide a general welcome to visitors
Can contain anything else you fancy ie. Thoughts on hotrodding/yanks in Scotland, a review of a recent show, History of rodding/yanks, opinions on the current scene, technical tips/discussion of interest, changes to legislation affecting our hobby, anything of general interest to us really although I’m not really after members showing/discussing their own cars it needs to be more general than that, like an articles section, think like writing for a magazine :D
Can contain links to other threads/photos/vehicles on the site and links to areas on other sites (within reason)
Can contain small images
If no one fancies it, I can keep doing it or we can go back to the last 10 updated threads like the old layout, but I thought it would be cool and democratic to let you guys have a bash, after all it's your site!
300 words are quite easy, so if anyone fancies the challenge let me know.
