Princes Street used to be such a cool cruise before they stopped us parking there and we moved to West Maitland street, we used to get such a good turn out with people coming from all over, lots of bikes used to turn up too  In the begining West Maitland street was good too, then it just became harder and harder to park up what with the Police moving us on and parking restrictions, it just died a death :(

I have many fond memories of cruising about in my Black MK1 Escort with Slot Mags, jack up kit and red Draylon interior lol. Then I had a Hillman Hunter that I fitted a Holby engine into but never finished, then when I was 21, I bought the Pontiac that I still own today.

Brian Daly was instrumental in helping me get my car back on the road, it would probably still be sitting in bits in my garage if not for him. Top Man:worship:

sorry about the photos in formation but i cant remember when or where i took them..?..the ones of the pops in the distance on there own was taken around the ayr racecourse, the same time as the you tube video ... some of the ones were taken on the crooz... for charity by street machiene.... the guy in the red moggy was called russ and later became part of street machiene company .. editor or something .. not sure. and i think i am rite in saying that the pritty lady custom painting was some early work by riadsrat..?..

Yip! The devil-lady was one of my early works painted on the rear door of my flamed Escort van. Also saw, what looked like, Dino, from Dundee, big American motor in his Anti-social Green. I laid on the pinstripe flames for him.

That was a Beetle owned by John Culross, in Dundee. John was better known for Scooters. Alec Culross took on the job of fitting the bodykit...from wot I remember, it was a 'mare to fit!!!

I gave him a hand to lay on the flames...not too easy to get them to look right when the car is as curvy as a Beetle!

By the looks of things, that was at Ayr Racecourse...and, more importantly, my Superminx is just sitting beside the Beetle!

Same show, along with my dug!
