Okay as some of you may know/not know when we set this board up some months ago it was only on a 3 month trial basis. Well the 3 month period was passed sometime ago and we have now purchased the webspace for real and committed ourselves to maintaining the site for the next 2 years.

Along with this the host allows us to obtain a oir own www.co.uk (http://www.co.uk) url, all we have to do is choose.

www.xmembers.co.uk (http://www.xmembers.co.uk) is availabe as far as i am aware, however in the name of democracy, i thought we'd start the debate for the forum/club/association of clubs name for those who may not be happy with the X-Members moniker. If people feel strongly enough about changing and can provide alternative names we can hold a vote to decide.

I thought so so too, but at the time some folk expressed concern cross members was a bit like cross dressers, ooh er!

Puts "drag" racing in a whole new perspective!!! :)

Andy,

I'm with everyone else on this - just keep the name and we'll hopefully get more involvement/info spread over the Winter months.

Cheers,

Steve

andy try:-

shell> mysqldump --tab=/path/to/some/dir --opt db_name

or

shell> mysqlhotcopy db_name /path/to/some/dir

this should give you a full backup of the Db.

Well if you're reading this you know we've made the move :). I've started submitting the site to search engines too so it should be easier to stumble across.
