Okay, i've been asked this a few times so i've put together a guide on how to upload photos to the galleries and how to include them in posts, so here goes...

Uploading Images

http://www.xmembers.co.uk/forum/mystuff/ImageTutorial/1.jpg
First click on 'Upload Photos and Videos' from the pull down menu from the blue 'Galleries' Button at the top of the page...

Choose a category to upload your pictures to, or leave it set to 'Members Galleries' to upload to your gallery, or select one of your albums if you have created any or leave set to 'None'. You can then add Keywords, Titles and Descriptions for ALL the pictures you are uploading at this point but you can leave these blank if you like as you will get the chance to do it individually later.

Click on 'Select files for Upload' and a window will appear allowing you to select files from your computer

Tip: Use shift or Ctrl to select multiple files in a directory.

Once selected click open to upload the pics, the blue bars in the white strips for each photo will show the upload progress, DO NOT NAVIGATE AWAY FROM THIS PAGE DURING UPLOAD OR ELSE ALL PROGRESS WILL BE LOST!

You can repeat the above for as many pics as you like, once you have uploaded all the photos you wish to, click on 'Upload/Submit'

You will now see a thumbnail list of all the photos to be added to the galleries. You can change the Categories, Titles, Keywords, and Descriptions for the photos at this point if you wish.

Once you're done Click 'Process'

If you're uploading more than 10 images you'll see the same page with the next 10 images, if not you're all done :)

Adding Images to Posts

http://www.xmembers.co.uk/forum/mystuff/ImageTutorial/4.jpg
Go to the image you wish to post and select all the text in the 'Linked Image' box underneath the photo, right click and select 'copy'.

Go to the forum and start a new thread or reply.
Type your message and right click and choose paste to insert the copied text where you wish to insert the image. Keep copying and pasting the linked images links for any images you wish to include.

***This text works exactly like the [img] tag on photobucket so you can paste these links into posts on other forums to post images there too, not just X-members****

Once you click 'Submit New Thread'/'Submit Reply' you images will appear in the post.

Adding Images as Attachments to Posts

You may also add images (and certaim other file types) as thumbnail attachments to any posts you make directly from your computer.

http://www.xmembers.co.uk/forum/mystuff/ImageTutorial/7.jpg
When making posts which you would like to attach an image to, click 'Manage Attachments' below the main post edit box.

http://www.xmembers.co.uk/forum/mystuff/ImageTutorial/8.jpg
This opens up an attachment management window, and if you click on browse it will allow you to select files from your computer.

http://www.xmembers.co.uk/forum/mystuff/ImageTutorial/9.jpg
Select the files you wish to attach and click 'Open'.

http://www.xmembers.co.uk/forum/mystuff/ImageTutorial/10.jpg
Once you have selected the files click 'Upload' in the Attachment Management window and wait a few moments for the files to upload and 'Submit New Thread'/'Submit New Post' as normal.

The images you have selected will now appear as thumbnails below your post and will open as large images in the lightbox if you click on them.

If you have any questions, just ask.... :)
