Anyhoo,
1st of all let me say I am in no way picking faults, finding faults or being negative here, just a few thoughts, that may be of interest or not.
Obviously would require some adjustment to the listings, which I cant comment on, as my PC skills are about as much good as a blonde woman in Israel called Jordan !!
On the Main Board, under "General Discussion" it states;
The place for general discussion about Hot Rods, Custom, and American cars in Scotland.
I am guilty of posting up links, jokes or other stuff, not related to the above category. Would it be possible to introduce a category called "Off Topic" or something similiar ? Dont wish in any way to turn it into a chat site, but it may, or could be putting folks off who would like to join, but dont have a vehicle etc.
As an active member of a few forums, which I will not name here as you lot will flame me ! I have had help for various problems, ie, pc virus, pregnant cats, daughter working abroad, plumbing all sorts of things !
Although we all share the same interests, ie, Yanks, Rods etc, we all have different jobs and backgrounds ?
If you had a wee query, you could pop up a question and ask !
I am car daft, but find other things interesting, other folks are the same perhaps ? Music, Movies,
As an example, and any complaints here, Mods feel free to delete this.
Had a free day just afore the new year as did my daughter. My daughter who is 21, leaves in 6 weeks to work in China, teaching English. So we had some daddy/daughter time to kill.
We ended up at Kelvingrove Museum and the Museum of Transport in Glasgow. Had a great day, and seen some stuff myself that made me think.
Now, who has read this far and went, "Museums ! pah" ??
