Was down nice and early, signed on a went in the SMALL queue. Lined up against something, and left the line just fine. Over revved it in 2nd, and it popped the fan belt - still beat the guy though.
Went back to the pits and popped the belt back on, then went for another run. It didn't go worth a fook - fuel vapourisation, and got very hot. Pits again, to find water pump had blown it's seal (joke there somewhere). Came away early and nursed it back stopping at every fookin junction, light etc and made it (just).
New pump now required - hope I've not buggered the head gaskets.
Was turning out to be a good day - plenty fast stuff, and some nice motors. My camera also fooked up, so what's the 3rd thing to go wrong?
Off to take the pump off when it cools down.
