Ok, Ade,

Good idea and you're right - from what I know our members have some fantastic cars/projects out there.

To get the "ball rolling" and for what it's worth here's my car and what I'm up to. It's long overdue an update and I took some pics of the car on wednesday so will try to update it over the weekend:

Hi All

Is there anyone in the Lanarkshire area with an interesting car they would like photographed?

The type of photographs that I usually take can be seen here:- elevation360 (http://elevation360.com)

There's no money involved but the owner will get a copy of the photos!

No led covered big exhausted Corsa's or other ned mobiles please - I'm looking for custom or restored cars only!

I'm looking to do something like the photo below (obviously not featuring an old Astra). To view the 360 degree panorama click on the link BELOW the photo!

Don't think so Dave, one snag is tho, you can only have one car per user :(.

Yep, no problem, i'll look into it. There's actually a much better garage module in the offing. Some of the hack coders on the forum software support sites i frequent are in the process of porting the phpbb garage module to vb, this is the same module that is/was on the Amvo.org website. You can see an exampe here:

Just a wee update to this...

Iv'e got hold of the finished version of a really good garage system which is installed on the board at the moment, an example of which you can see here...

http://www.g5club.net/forum/garage.php

I'm still testing it and unfortunately there are afew bugs at the moment, the main one being it seems to be incompatible with our shoutbox, so we will have to work through these issues before it goes live. The support from the developer however is excellent and i fully expect these issues to be resolved.

So, it is coming soon...

For those that wish to see ours bearing in mind it runs only intermittently on IE7 (not sure about FF or safari) it can be seen here...

Okay!

After much trial and error I've thrashed out the compatibility issues with the shoutbox and got the garage running (see i hadn't forgotton about it :) ), see the post in the Site Technical Help Forum http://www.xmembers.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=607. Ive removed the members rides/projects forum and moved the four threads from there into the General Discussion forum.

As a wee aside iv'e moved the 'For Sale' and 'Wanted' sections to the main Forum too, didn't seem to make much sense to have them buried as sub-forums.

Hi All

I previously posted in the forum before looking for some car interiors to photograph in 360 degrees in the Lanarkshire area, but got no response.

I'm still looking for suitable vehicles, i.e. custom and restored - no ned mobiles! Also private vehicles only, no businesses!

If anyone has anything interesting let me know!

Cheers

Billy

Whats the cost mate ?

There wouldn't be any cost if it wasn't for commercial use and it was something interesting.

Ideally, I'm looking for anything out of the ordinary - preferably old restored "classics" with interesting interiors. I've got plenty of shots of "modern" vehicles!
