hello,

the entertainment involved in classics/rod just never stops eh?

I'm now after a recommendation for someone to look at my 1976 c4 3 speed auto transmission.

The garage that looked at my engine says I need the "belts adjusted" and it generally sorted out.

When free wheeling, it lurches into a lower gear making rolling a long less than smooth.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
A

your best bet is john sleath, he is outside doncaster but you can get the box shipped there and back... he is very reasonable and actually knows how autos work (unlike most "specialists" he will only repair the affected areas as apposed to a full rebuild when it does'nt need one) i have used him many times for my race th350 trans that i blow up all the time! (because i treat it hard , not because it was'nt built correctly)
just google john sleath race car.
