I seem to remember we discussed having a run on the 13th aug, starting off from the Horseshoe Diner, i think 12:30 was mentioned as a time, but can anyone confirm what was decided so i can put it in the events calendar?
Also, are we aware this is the same day as the Klaymore Kruisers annual cruise and picnic to Loch Lomond?
What is the Klaymore cruise like??
....tho i fear i may be pushing my luck a bit with the Kyle event the following weekend then the AVO sunday on the 27th

Done it once about six years ago, was one of the very first cruises i went on with the 'vette and the first cruise i went on with my good friends Steve and Iona in the yelly pop (ahh, fond memories). Anyway seem to remember it was a great day, cruise up to Loch Lomond was grand, can't beat the scenery. Then we parked up by the loch and had a picnic in the sun, was all very relaxed and extremely enjoyable, apart from getting stung by a bee  (remember that steve?)

Sunday the 13th August...................hmm......................
This one gives me a bit of a dilema - loyalty/locality suggests I go and support my pals at the Tayside American Cruisers barbeque, however, on the other side of that the Klaymore's Loch Lomond cruise is an excellent event too using the cars and covering some bonny scenery enroute.
It's a little frustrating that there's so little on in Scotland for us that two clubs can have events on the calendar which clash. just goes to show that there's a break-down somewhere in communication.
Andy and I had a chat about this and thought that maybe getting a web-site going with events etc on it would be a good idea so that we can all communicate and share stuff ;) - I said that I couldn't see that working at all! :D
On a more proactive note, it would be nice if people would say which they are going to as I would like to think that both will be supported and that we could maybe get photo's or a feature on both for the web-site.
So, who's going where?
Hi there,
Hopefully our car will be on the road for this:D and if so we will be going to the Klaymore Lochlomond Cruise.
Hope to see ye all soon.

Won't be able to make either of these runs now, got family up this weekend again. Maybe at KFC on the Sunday night tho, depends what time they leave.
Hi Folks,
I don't think we are going to make it either, we are still having problems with one of our back brakes.
Hope to catch up with you all soon.
