View Full Version : corvette owners scottish meet every last sunday

meetings will be held at the Showcase Cinema near Coatbridge on the last Sunday of the month, starting @ 13:00. The cinema is visible from the M8 (Glasgow to Edinburgh) road and is at the end of the M73 (Stirling to Glasgow) where it meets the M8. Everyone welcome, including other Yanks, not just Vettes. this sunday they meet up at 10.30am and have a road trip to leadhills.

The meetings are held on the last Sunday of the month but we meet at 1030 and head off for a run about 1100. The May meeting has been brought forward a week as the last Sunday falls in the bank holiday weekend.

just had a look on the corvette forum, spotted this post

"This months meeting has been postponed until the 5th June as this weekend is a bank holiday. So it'll probably be wet like most bank holidays.

Hope to see you ll on the 5th"

the vette meeting is on tomorrow, start time 10.30am, Showcase Cinema, Bargeddie, Coatbridge. Close to the junction of the M73 & the M8.

then go for a run somewhere for the day, Iam going alot with the vette, anyone welcome

Which is your vette, the C3 or C4? I've seen the "Goes Like F***" C4 a couple of times but never met the owner.

Awesome cars both of them, my favourite gens of vette. :cool:

Very good run. Really enjoyed it. Even the sun came out few times... Just the shame we lost Grant at the end... he couldn't keep up ;)

Dave, your last overtaking before I turned off towards Edinburgh was brisk as feck... Really nice sound as well...

It's a proper sleeper... Because the body is not in perfect condition folks must be thinking it is some old, barely holding together car, but when you put your foot down it does go like fuck. :)
