Two pack to paint my engine??

Fit Like loons and quines!

Am just about to paint my new engine for the belair! I would like to paint it the same colour as the car but can't find any engine paint out there that even comes close!!
Does anybody know if you can use the two pack paint for the car body on the engine??
Graeme at Retro Restorations is game to give it a try saying two pack can stand a fair heat! But it's not him who will have to re paint it and pull it out again!!
Is there an additive I can put in??

Done it twice before, one on a 350 sb chevy and the other time on a VG30Dett. Both were fine !!

2k is absolutely fine for engines. Years ago I used dulux gloss which worked fine too:)

:D as long as you clean it down and use the proper adhesion promoters there shouldnt be a problem .....ie etch primers, 2 pak primers etc.......

Years ago I used dulux gloss which worked fine tooMe too and it worked perfectly
