Got a quote for 1/4 my renewal quote when I went to footman James. Unlimited mileage, RAC cover included, so all in saved myself about £400.

Been with a small company called Diamond Insurance Consultants for nearly 10 years and they've been pretty good...

...was with Flux when i first got the 'vette at a premium of around £1200, then i pranged it and they refused to insure me lol :o

Couldn't get insurance for love nor money (well some were quoting £4k) but then phoned Diamond and they quoted fully comp 6k miles limited for £450  (at the time i was only 26) and since then it's dropped every year down to about £156 now. I'm still sure they misquoted that first year, but i bit their hand off lol :D

Footman James for me.

Agreed value, salvage buyback, all modifications declared, European cover for 60 days, free breakdown cover.

All for £120

Never had to claim off them tho, so can't comment on that side of it.

IIRC, if your agreed value is over £15,000 you require an independent valuation. Up to that, you value it yourself and just send some pictures.

ive always used classicline insurance. in the last few years its not went up at all. they are happy to agree value up to 20k with no independent valuation and their policies dont have a limit on the mileage you do either and they can provide breakdown cover too. gus had a claim with them earlier in the year and they paid out no problem at all and then paid him to do the work himself.

I tried loads of companies for renewal and ended up staying with Adrian Flux as they gave me best price.
Also best phone service I've had from any insurer and decent policy.

I'm with Adrian Flux too and they're alright, but probably not the cheapest you can find. It's only because they were one of the few I could find who would insure Tex when he's not kept at my home address. Previously I was with RH specialist car division who were really good, but when I moved Tex they wouldn't insure him anymore.
