Nice one Mark...are you keeping it standard? I could really be tempted with something exactly like that. Hmmm...

well chaps thanks for the comments..
boyd yes keeping it standard, cant see me doing very much at all to it, the cars too nice and too rare - i do however plan on tidying it up - things like removing the semaphores and other small pieces. as far as I believe the only roadster in this country so as you can understand keeping it standard or very nearly standard is the best way, and cant think of anything which would make me part with it or the coupe. ive liked them for a while but never thought i would find one here for sale but there you go.. there was only 4800 ever made 70 years ago, so they got to be quite rare by now.
stevie no my knees are still wobbly lol, think they will only stop shaking once i get it here and get the small bits and pieces it needs, get it MOT'd, taxed and off we go!
K5 its a 1935 ford roadster..that engine is a 1937 ford flathead - 3622cc. 85HP - it was a one off engine for the states but they are more common here, found in Ford Pilots.

Mark,
WOW! That is one lovely car, you must be delighted.
I can't wait until the day you go down to your garage to take out your Rod and find that Red has dropped your convertible body onto it over a weekend!
Still, it'll do you good to get the top down and cruse in both days of our summer!
Well done, I hope it's good to you.
