new to the x members site.
been around for a couple of years, so prolly met many of you guys at some stage or other.
i belong to a '71 cougar, when i bought it, it was orange, having been green, and matt black at some stage in it's life !
after an incident in a car park, when it was victim of a hit & run, :mad:
i couldn't match the colour, so decided on fiat broom yellow.
painted it myself in a council lock up, a foot bigger than the car !!
not 100& happy with the job, but it'll do for now.
modifications ?
msd coil, converted to breakerless ignition. custom made headers with true dual exhausts. camshaft of unknown duration ! air shocks on the rear. halogen converted headlights with angel eyes.
de-locked, and de-handled.
there's probably more, but i'm boring myself !! :rolleyes:
future plans ?
the doors are knackered, so i can't do much until i source a good pair of doors, after that, the car is fairly solid, so a bare metal respray is in order when i get a decent garage !!
