View Full Version : Secure Garage in Glasgow

Unfortunately I found out recently that I'm being booted out of the garage I currently rent (I had the green '67 Mustang next to Javed's Eleanor at the recent Errol show), so am now looking for a secure lock up.
I would prefer somewhere near the West End of Glasgow (I'm close to the Botanic Gardens) but will consider anything within a reasonable distance, so let me know if you are aware of anything suitable.
I saw the ad for Glasgow Car Storage on the forum, but it's probably a bit too far away and access seems to be restricted to weekdays, which obviously doesn't work for mainly weekend usage.
Cheers

Just to let everyone know about some available car storage.
Suitable for cars, bikes, projects or for hiding your latest purchase from your other half.
It's dry, secure, £50 pm, and located next to a well known rod builder.

You could try Ollie at Alba Storage, whos in Vale of leven Ind Estate, Dumbarton if any closer to the west end, near Ballantines whiskey.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm going to check out the Glasgow Car Storage option at the weekend and get Ross at RMR Restorations to have a look at some repair work on the Mustang at the same time (thankfully he is right next door), so it might work at least as an interim solution until I can find something closer to home.
I guess I'm a little spoiled at the moment with a 10-minute walk to my current garage, otherwise I think I'll need to start looking for a house with its own garage (and a new set of neighbours to annoy with the engine noise!).
