Just getting ready to go pick up a set of wheels tomorrow when the front brake pads need changing. Not a difficult job, done it loads of times. Nothing ever goes wrong.
Until you need the car to go down to Blackpool area to pick up a new set of wheels.
Noticed a little moisture on the brake calliper, well a bit more than a little. I've got brake fluid pi**ing out a crack in the piston.
Since when did they start making brake calliper pistons out of plastic?:mad:
Managed to arrange a lift for the wheels, but now need to repair/replace the calliper, and I know that if I need to remove the calliper I'll end up having to replace the connecting brake pipe.
On a happier note. I now need to find some spring compressors so that I can change the springs on the PT.
Wheels coming, other bits ready, now just need to drop it on lower springs and it'll be nearly where I would like it to be.
Rant over... :)
