taken off rods and sods

Unfortunately due to the loss of the venue and the planned replacement venue being knocked back by the council this week. It is with regret that the decision has been taken to cancel the event for 2011.
We will continue to try and find a replacement so that the event can come back in 2012.

That's a shame, Kyle's always a good laugh, even if they could have ordered better weather !!! :(

Depending if Kirsti gets a job, we might not have been here for it anyway.

Wasn't there a lot of falling out and some sort of argument in the Kyle club? Seem to recall that one year there was two shows there or summat like that?

That's a bummer, hope a new venue gets sorted out.
It's the one show i always try and make during the year.

I believe you are correct sir.
IIRC, it had something to do with club funds, in the main.

I don't think the website ever really did work well. It always said that it was under development.

Maybe somebody needs to step up and organise an informal gathering on the same weekend ?
Anyone know a good spot to camp out for the night ???

Strangely enough, the Ayr club had a big fallout back in the 70's causing a new club (Customayr?) to come along. History often repeats itself:)
