Just bought this orange Camaro for my daily, perhaps you know it? It's had 8 previous owners after all! Apparently it has a stainless exhaust, not sure how to tell, and the passenger side upper seat belt is stuck fully out. Any ideas how to retract it?

Had a few 3rd gens, and the seat belts were always a pain in the a**e !
Common problem ! Try and pick up a 2nd hand one, shouldnt be too hard depending on the colour of the belt.
Nice looking car by the way !;)

I recognise that camaro. Was up for sale on Ebay a while back, seller I think was one of the Moray Muscle Group members who sold it to a guy in Dundee (no idea who the person is, nor seen it going about) who put it up for sale again recently. If I'm not terribly mistaken the engine in it is the 2.8 v6.
The seat belts are notorious for jamming on 3rdgen camaro & Firebird/Transams. They can be removed & opened up but are a bit of a plaster to fix. Failing that you can always check fleabay for second-hand ones or order a set from the States (Modern Day Muscle) or try the breakers yard Oldcott Motors in Stoke-On-Trent.
Stainless steel exhaust shouldn't be hard to spot. Should be free of flaking rusty metal. The silencer may or may not be stainless though. Here's a photo of mine...

Rusty mild steel exhaust replaced with...

Yes that's the one, former MMG. Dundee guy, Jim, has a 78 Trans Am waiting in California for shipping!
The headlining needs doing as well as the seatbelt and a general tune up is on the cards, still using it everyday though!!
It's the 2.8 V6 but as it's a manual means I get to really hoon it about! Lucky it's not an 8 or I'd be in a ditch already!!
Any interior trimmers around these parts?
Thanks for pics, very helpful, cheers.

Air Filters
Alternator
With Engine Temperature Sensor and Dizzy Cap and Rotor Arm on the way. Bloody Cheap car is costing me loads. Jim I bought it from said "It needs nothing". Famous last words!
Oh and it still won't start and when it did was hunting and stalling.
I'll get it done soon.... hopefully.
