Ok, as a PT Cruiser owner I have to stand up and defend the title of hotrod...:worship:

It isn't a hotrod, for two reasons:

1. There is no where near as much (plastic) chrome as there should be, way too little.:rolleyes:

2. At a guess, I would say they seller was 46 years old, (you wonder how I know this - his name is sayer101064, so I guess his date of birth is 10/10/64) and at that age he should know better. :o

What it is, is a PT Cruiser with a couple of chrome add ons and a large window sticker.

Just remember next year when I turn up at the runs/shows that my PT Cruiser will be a modified PT Cruiser, I will not claim that it is a hotrod, or that it looks like one, but in the present financial climate I can think of it as anything I want. :p Presently it's being a pain in the ass but I'll rant about that in another thread.

Just to keep up interest going in the 'quiet season' here are a couple of pictures of PT Cruisers that might be considered to be hotrods. (Not within certain bodies guidelines though :D)

i have 3 pt cruisers, from bog standard to a big turbo nos one that i will be racing next year, all though its fully road leagal, i dont call them hot rods, but in the states they did do a limited hot rod version of about 500, though that pt aint one, and ive had all different yanks over the years and i called them all sorts of things when they wouldnt start? my only answer is what ever you own ' its only got to please yourself and no one else, money dont buy you happiness' but it sure buys you a quicker car than all the i want but cant have brigade,
