View Full Version : New Rod
Sold the 47 sedan just after the supernats and have now replaced it with an all steel 29 Ford model A pickup, 330HP GM crate 350 chevy th350 auto, 9" rear 3.55:1 gears superbell dropped I beam vega steerng box stainless column 23" lokar shifter, goes like a rocket but didn`t stop worth a toss recently changed the 40 drums to a discbrake setup, and sorted out the steering wandering, now drives nice n straight and stops on a dime, a pleasure to drive fast and slow.

Hi Andy, I've seen it and it's a cracker
Looks great in the pics but oooooohhhhh so much better in the flesh.........
Russ, are you painting it after all or leaving as is ?
it is getting painted but been changing to disc brakes and redoing the steering fiest, got some interior work to do to seat, (either recoverthe bench or fit a couple of recaros without headrests, then worry about the paint , have loads of metalflake in different colours and can mix any colour known to man so final colour wil be decided half an hour before it goes on
