It was a conversion for Australia.

The car appears, briefly, in the background in 'Running on Empty' (the Aus car film, not the US one).

A wing car enthusiast on the Moparts forum in the US bought it and had it shipped to the US to California (along with the XB Falcon in the background) and drove them both across the US to Michigan.

The girl, Dartgirl on the Moparts forum went along for the trip.
