(on the Ennio Morricone subject) Not quite a theme but for me it simply has to be 'The Ecstasy of Gold' from the end of The Good, The bad and The ugly.

Purely cos it reminds me of the anticipation of being in the pit seconds before Metallica go on stage. Every time i see the film i close my eyes and hear 'Creeping Death' after, still gives me goosebumps :o
