Just thought i'd throw this out for a kick about, but the thought occured to me the other day that our band has a small PA and lights so it would be dead easy for us to put on a Christmas Disco if anyone fancied it?

you better describe what a disco is for the younger viewers

also anyone know of a cheap hotel with a function room we could get romms etc make a night of it somewhere in fife maybe

Perhaps, but the Dundee Christmas discos were reasonably well attended. Also at the risk of putting people off :o, we could sell tickets at a couple of quid a skull towards the cost of running the forum, making it a fund-raiser of sorts.

andy you could do a "tour" with your band ;)

Don't joke! Steve's already talking about a tour up to Ullapool and Stornoway, which would be cool :)

It's be good to have a christmas piss up together. :D We wouldn't need to hire a DJ or any stuff as i've got all the kit already.

Anyone got ideas for a venue?

Jokers in Dunfermline have a free function room. (I think).

Last year's Christmas night oot was brilliant... I wouldn't mind somethin' like that again. But we need to bring Ian and Sarah :D

Well I think disco is a perfect word as everyone knows what a disco is :p

And at a disco you can play all sorts of music for everyone so a disco can be abit of everything for everyone - whatever you like ;)

So disco works for me :D

No idea though where we could have it but let me know and I'll be there :) ..... might even dance around my handbag ...

Apparently December is crazy busy at work, everyone wants turkeys, and hotels get busy with nights oot.
